Dressed for Sunset

Top (?), Jumper (F21), Shoes (ASOS)

Added a feminine touch to this amazing tuxedo jumper by pairing it with a lace top for a night out on the town.
My room has six huge windows that cover the walls and as soon as the sun sets, the most beautiful colors pour into my room. Perfect time to snap a couple photos before heading out!

Australian Gal

I've been going ga ga for Australian fashion this summer! Perfect plays on patterns and textures, with pieces that fuel my obsession for statement white garments. Featured above are two of my favorite Aussie labels, Finders Keepers and Cameo. The first half are photos from FK's newly launched line, Strange Love, and the second half are some of my favorite picks from Cameo.
You can shop both lines on fashionbunker.com

You're welcome.

Selfies

Shirt (Anthom), Skirt (2020ave), Sweater (Maiden Noir), Shoes (Zara), Bag (ASOS)

Something familiar, something simple.

Revisiting my golden days - taking selfies in my room back when I was living in Colorado and hungry to put my style out there, even if I had to prop my dad's Nikon up on some books and use the self-timer!
It's funny how things come full circle. When I first started a fashion blog (about 4 years ago) I was itching to connect and resonate with others outside of my small suburban town. Now that I've widened my scope and in one way or another reached my goal of finding people who understand and appreciate my sense of style, I find myself stuck in a level of complacency. It took me a while to realize that although it feels like I've progressed, I'm almost further back now than I was when I started.
Isn't that the universal moral of so many lessons in life?
I don't have to wait on anyone else to make things happen, if I'm passionate enough about something and I have the resources, what's stopping me?
I might not have what a lot of these fashion bloggers have, i.e. a photographer boyfriend (lol), but after years of practicing, do I take a damn good selfie. To me, it's not a declaration of vanity or conceitedness. It's me taking control of my grind, my creativity, my expression.
