The Introduction

I'd like to introduce you guys to Jordan Faralan and Jessica Hu, the two ladies pictured above. I love how whenever I need to satisfy the photographer in me I've got these two gems around :) I'm excited for the things to come for us, I don't think I could have thought up a more dynamic trio to take on Seattle. The ambition is high and the passion is real. Finna keep it one hunnit and keep grinding. I love you guys!

I'll try updating our adventures on here more often, hope you all enjoy! xoxo, L

City of Angels

I've been to LA a handful of times but each time is always eye-opening and different from the last; this trip was no exception. I still can't get over how different the culture in LA is compared to any other and I often times picture who I would have become if I went to school there (my original plan). We stayed in West Hollywood where there was a condensation of money and social climbers. There was so much glamour, so many connections, so many stars...that it all seemed to blur together and lose value. It's amazing how unimpressive someone can be just because they know the girl that worked for the guy that manages for that one celebrity. Ironically, being around this culture that lived up to its cliche practically to a T wasn't the eye opener, rather I was suddenly aware of  how the people I knew and loved naturally lived a lifestyle of substance over image. It made me more thankful of Seattle, and even more my roots - growing up in Colorado where people could give two fucks about who you knew and how many boushie parties you been to. Although I'll admit I'd like to go to at least one boushie party in my lifetime and I appreciate the finer things in life, I'm glad my surroundings have allowed me and I have chosen to focus on being a good person and surrounding myself with real ass people first and foremost. If I do ever move to LA for whatever reason, and I'm able to maintain that, now that would be making it in LA.

The End (lol)

PS. Big shout out: This trip would not have been so wonderful and amazing without Zac's very very generous cousin, Edwin, who allowed us to literally take over his house and car for 5 days. Shout out to HHSA's Dub Dawgs for killin' it at the Schools for Fool bboy jam! So good seeing all you guys in LA. Last but certainly not least, to my Clyde, you have surpassed all expectations of how much of my shit you can put up with and every day I find multiple reasons to appreciate you more and more. I love you, babe.
